Breezy Continues the Treasure's Legacy With Children
For forty years there has been line of German Shepherds under Pam Dickson's training to provide entertainment and help to those needing a pick-me-up - especially children and their families whose lives have been impacted by a critical health issue. Her current dog, Breezy, came through his own trauma requiring heart surgery when he was 4 months old. Now a two-year-old, Breezy continues his training, but leads the way in putting smiles on the faces of children at local hospitals. In addition, a special actual treasure chest holds gifts for those children and provides continuing uplift and enjoyment. The chests are a legacy from the first German Shepherd, "Treasure Chest," that Pam trained all those years ago. Breezy continues the tradition. The gifts/toys are donations from Fursman Kennels' clients and friends of Treasure Chest. You too can help support the effort by contacting Pam.
The following scrapbook of images illustrate Breezy's early illness and now healthy activities.

Breezy was just a couple of months old when the heart condition was discovered.
After the operation, Breezy was still not fully himself.
On his feet, Breezy is showing signs of recovery.

This is one of the Treasure Chests - a 100 year-old chest made of kimono dragon skin - now residing at a local hospital. It is kept provisioned with gifts donated by the Friends of Treasure Chest and clients of Fursman Kennels - thank you all!
